This is the main artery leading down to the caverns where the diamonds are
excavated. Its obvious that dwarven heritage has played its part in creating
these tunnels, as they are almost perfect. Only a dwarf would have the skill
to create tunnels such as these. This main pathway leads east and down, deeper
into the depths of the mines. Small lanterns have been hung from the rafters
so that those who aren't graced with ultravision or infravision can still be
of use here. From this room, smaller shafts lead out to the north, east, and
south.

A Passageway in the Diamond Mines
This second level of the mine is very similarly to the tunnels above it.
Light becomes a rare commodity deeper in the mines. Recent events have stopped
the miners from braving the depths in search of the better diamonds. The
lanterns which line these walls have not been oiled in some time and are quite
dim if not completely out. In these tunnels an unholy wailing noise can be
heard reverberating down the the corridors.

This second level of the mine is very similarly to the tunnels above it.
